Vacuum Greases - Hydrocarbon
- Apiezon AP100 vacuum grease is a silicone-free vacuum grease and lubricant.
- Apiezon AP101 is a silicone-free, excellent general-purpose, hydrocarbon grease, which is intended for a variety of industrial and scientific applications.
- Apiezon H Grease is a silicone-free high vacuum grease perfectly suited for use at high temperatures in both scientific and industrial applications.
- Apiezon L Grease is a silicone and halogen-free ultra-high vacuum grease suitable for use in scientific and industrial applications.
- Apiezon M Grease is a silicone and halogen-free high vacuum grease and is ideally suited to all manner of high vacuum applications.
- Apiezon N Grease is silicone-free and widely recognized and recommended as the cryogenic vacuum grease of choice.
- Apiezon T Grease is a silicone-free medium-temperature vacuum grease renowned for its quality and tenacity.
- Apiezon PFPE 501 vacuum grease is a chemically inert, high-temperature lubricant.
Waxes & Q Compound
The Apiezon waxes and compounds range features four products, including the popular Apiezon Wax W also known as ‘Black Wax’. All three waxes in the Apiezon range can be used as permanent or semi-permanent vacuum sealants or mounting media.
Apiezon Wax W is also a perfect etch resist, perhaps most extensively used as an etch resist in the electronics industry for both semiconductor and printed circuit boards. Its wide operating temperature range and low vapor pressures mean it also has an excellent track record in many other different applications and is the most versatile product in the Apiezon Wax range.
Meanwhile, Apiezon Q Compound is an effective temporary vacuum sealant that is used as a short-term solution in situations that do not allow for the immediate dismantling of a system for repair.
It can be used to seal around the edges of flat unground joints, to blank off parts of an apparatus temporarily, or to seal glass cylinders to metal plates to produce temporary vacuum enclosures.
